Lament for a horse is a visual homage or sorrow poem to the Icelandic horse that has played an important role in the shaping of Iceland for the last 100 years. The series is an exploration of the landscape, the seasons, the weather, the beauty and brutality in nature and time passing through life and death. I'm interested in how the environment has shaped us and how close to nature we once were.
